đ±You are my rainbow
This week, the Ten of Cups wants us to use gratitude like preventative medicine.
Welcome to the Greenhouse đ± where we plant seeds for the week ahead with a tarot reading, a digital altar, and more! Consider this your digital quiet place to exhale, read, and nourish your busy lil brain to ground you for the upcoming week. Maybe weâll bask in the sun a little, too (wearing SPF, of course!) This weekâs seed đ±: Gratitude as preventative medicine
The compost đȘ±: The Ten of Cups
Iâve heard people say that one of the antidotes to depressionâand just feeling bad in generalâis gratitude. I find this to be very annoying advice when actually depressed or in a bad mood. While it is true that, in those states, our perspectives can skew negative, Iâve found that gratitude is not the thing that will pull me out of a depressive spiral. Trust me, Iâve tried (cue: me writing down furiously what Iâm thankful for in a journal while sobbing.) However, gratitude is an excellent preventative tool.
This is what the Ten of Cups offers: a reminder to enjoy the rainbows of your life, because I know youâve got some. The fact that you woke up today and are reading this missive is certainly my rainbow â€ïž The Ten of Cups has a sweetness to it, like itâs asking us: What in your life right now makes you go, âAww :â)â Think about it, let yourself feel warm and fuzzy about it, send it a quick thank you. Just remember to let yourself enjoy the rainbows.
